Provenance matters
We care deeply about where things come from, not because it sounds good on a menu, but because it genuinely makes a difference. Every vegetable, fruit, protein, wine and everything in between has a person, a place and a story behind it.
We want to know who grew it, how they grew it, what they care about and why they do what they do. We choose to work with people whose values we share and put our money behind small growers, makers and producers who are doing things with care. For us, provenance is about more than knowing where something came from, it’s about flavour, quality, seasonality, sustainability and connection.
When you sit down at our table, we want you to taste the difference. So yes, you might pay a little more for a carrot grown by someone who spends their days obsessing over the soil, but we reckon that’s worth something. We’d rather serve you one bloody good carrot with a story behind it than ten ordinary ones with none. Provenance is, and always will be, a big part of what we do.
